Press Release: Champion All Stars Sweep National Competition

Champion All Stars, located in Danbury, CT, brought more than 50 athletes and their families to Orlando, Florida to compete in Spirit Cheer's All American Nationals Cheerleading Competition on March 19 and 20. Champion's participants included two individual performers (Katelyn M. - Youth and Sarah D. - Junior); members of two stunt groups, Starbursts (Youth) and Skittles (Senior); their special needs team, Country Stars; and their three travel teams (pictured), Team Jaxx TV Stars (Junior Level 2), Movie Stars (Senior Level 2), and Rock Stars (Senior Level 4 Co-ed). The individual performers took home fourth and first place respectively, while Country Stars won national recognition. Both stunt groups and all three travel teams won first place in their respective divisions. Team Jaxx out-performed 32 Level 2 teams and Rock Stars beat 11 Level 4 Teams to each take home the title of Grand Champions. Champion All Stars received the Super Grand Champions Award, earning the highest overall percentage of scores across all gyms in attendance. If you are interested in seeing these top notch athletes in action, Champion will be hosting a Gym Show and Fair on May 15th from 11am – 4pm at their Danbury, CT location. Champion All Stars of Danbury serves cheerleaders from Danbury, Bethel, Brookfield, New Fairfield, Sharon, Newtown, Monroe, Ridgefield, Oxford, and South Salem, NY. They now also have a location in Somers, NY.
